A new model being trained
The lab reads pages on the web. Whoever published them gets paid for each page, instead of being copied for free.
Wherever this page shows a payment, it is a test network. No real money.
-
Step 1
The lab's crawler requests a page.
-
Step 2
The site answers with the price: a fraction of a cent.
-
Step 3
The crawler pays on its own and receives the text.
-
Step 4
Whoever published it gets paid for that page being read.
-
Step 5
The page is no longer copied for free.
illustrative example One training run can request millions of pages. Each one charges its fraction. This is not a market statistic.
